MR-RC - Metering Roller Cleaner Description: MR-RC is a fast-drying solvent blend, formulated to clean metering rollers in continuous dampening systems. Regular blanket and roller washes may leave a residue on the roller surface that will interfere with their operation. MR-RC will clean quickly and evaporate quickly, leaving no residue. Directions: Metering Roller: Disengage the metering roller from contact with other rollers and wipe clean with a cloth saturated with MR-RC. Rollers that have been neglected in the past will require a thorough scrubbing. The metering roller should be cleaned daily at the end of the shift or when ever a build-up of ink appears.           Product Need and Usage: Continuous dampening systems depend on the smooth surface of the metering roller to ensure uniform dampening of the plate and to prevent streaking in the solids and screens. MR-RC is ideal for cleaning all rollers in the dampening system, leaving them clean and free of any ink or resin build-up that can promote ink feedback into the dampening system.
